Re-phrase: it takes a group of good guys with grit and determination... and some accessories...
off top of my head...
First things:
1. communication channel/s and signals, and comm-sig practice, like the ham radio/local emergency volunteers do.
2. several levels of response, kind of like defcon 1-4...
3. a few "formations" - like when you can get to the property being targeted, and when you can't but can get nearby.
4. what is makeup of your "ready kit", which by the way ought to include more than just arms, like non-lethal/self defense items... like - i don't know - deer scent spray cans, stink sprays, mace sprays, self-protection baton, a cheap cell phone/camera that you can turn on at moment's notice... somebody (or everyone) has some first aid stuff... a helmet? (mobs are starting to use bricks and stones, etc)
Always have some duplicate items, as backups. Always have a plan "B".
Who's on lookout, ie the duty nhd-watch person...
practice identifying who the leader(s) might be... maybe the ones with the megaphone? crowd control imo, begins with leaders-control.
