Short stroke on new build

Update:

I went to the range today and put in my BCG (Wilson Combat) from my other AR. Cycled flawlessly on 1/2 gas.

The original BCG was from PSA https://palmettostatearmory.com/palmetto...57996.html and I *think* made from toolcraft. I never had to "break in" a BCG and I'm leaning towards that I got a dud of a BCG.

Your BCG was probably not very gas efficient. The 3 bores and gas key bore can effect the gas efficiency of the BCG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQWGQuLyUCU
