My Grendel has a pretty stout kick to it, not uncomfortable but much more noticeable than 5.56, 7.62x39 or 300 hamr. I put an adjustable gas block on it, it was definitely over gassed, that helped quite a bit. I took off the bird cage and added a compensator this morning, will see if that helps any.
