JP website recommends the H2 SCS for calibers larger than .223/5.56. You can start with the H2 to see how it works in your rifle. If it's too heavy, you can get replacement springs & weights from JP to convert the H2 to standard weight. There are instructions for changing out springs & weights on their website.

I have a standard weight SCS in my 3 gun .223 Wylde AR. Works great!

There is more to that equation then just caliber.
