Mel,
was the purpose of the shorty to get some weight relief? or just a bit more handy? you live around an area that is pretty wide open so i don't see the 28" Grendel as being so long that it gets caught up in the vegetation, as outside of what's planted as crops, there doesn't appear to be much there. so i suspect weight perhaps? i still think the long tom is the coolest one.

Going to b in the city for a few weeks right around the time tempers may flare up , so I built it just to take with me . That being said I wanted a nice compact gun for the truck and just to have anyways. Current events and my upcoming trip just happened to move it to the top of my list
