Maybe time for a update on the "project".
I have put the shorter Jury-barrel on so that the Grendel is ready for hunting.
And I have also found a very nice VLS-stock that I will be using for hunting that requires me to move around.
Since I have filled the Bravo with lead and it is not ideal as a hunting stock when moving around is needed, another stock is needed.
This stock was in good condition, but a little work was needed to open up the barrel channel and that ended up in the stock got a bedding job by myself.
Here a few puctures:

Bedding done with Epobed.
After that I went to the range to test fire and also sight in the scope so the guns was complete ready for hunting.
The hunting this time of year with the Grendel is primarily for black grouse and capercaillie. They are this time of year here in the northern of Sweden out in top of trees feeding.
I will be using the 108gr Scenar for this type of hunt, but also wanted a more expanding bullet for a opportunity for other animals like fox.
The gun always have liked the 108gr Scenar and no surprise this time either after the bedding.
Here the 108gr Scenar at 90m:

And I did a small test at 200m just to check. And it looks like it works also.

The 123gr SST is the expanding bullet and it needs a few MIL to the side. Did too many on the first shot and backed down 2 clicks and it lokks like it will work also.

Have not stopped with a bedding job so the next have been to install a butt to the stock that can give adjustments.
This was grinded into place and the original buttpad from Remington is resused and I´am happy with the result.
The stock will now need a new surface so I will be stripping it and redo the clearcoat.

Also installed flush-cups so the rifle can be carried like backpack with a double-sling.
