This may be the final kill-shot to the 2A.

This is one time that I would wish conservative justices had a bit of "activism" in them, to the extent of taking up an issue and correcting the gross wrongdoing that has been done to the country and the Constitution. Part of justice is to set right, the things that have gone wrong. And that, in my opinion, is what Scotus has failed to take up.

Texas has just as much standing in this as prior states had in complaining/filing about acid rain -- and the courts took those cases.

I voted for the guy both times, but that does not mean I have to like him. However, it is like I said above. The Republicans would not be complaining about the election has the events been reversed. They would claim it was what was correct, just like you are claiming the justices did wrong, the conservative dominated justices. What are we now, 6 conservative justices to 3 liberal justices? No, justices are not supposed to be activists. They are supposed to hear cases based on their merits, not push for their own agendas.

I can hear the statement now from one of the justices, "We did not think the case brought before us was valid or with merit, but we went ahead and heard the case and sided on behalf of the plaintiff because we liked what they were trying to do."

That isn't how the justice system works. Don't blame the SC for the failings of the plaintiffs. That the judges may have heard other cases from Texas doesn't mean that they will hear all cases from Texas, LOL.

All the freaked out liberals and leftists who thought Trump appointees would be his lap dogs can rest easy.

That's funny, because apparently some conservatives felt those justices were supposed to be lap dogs and have failed in doing so.

But hey, do you think if they could not get the case past the SC which is packed with conservative appointees that maybe the case wasn't demonstrably valid? Those are our people up there, right?
