Be careful of Sweets 7.62 or other ammonia-based cleaners like Windex. Sweets came with instructions not to leave it in a barrel for more than 15min (I say came because I don't use it anymore so unsure if the formula or instructions have changed). Ammonia will strip out not only the fouling but removes copper. When cleaning I try and remove the powder fouling but leave the copper.
