I am a new member here and am a huge 6.5 Grendal fan. Im 65 years of age and used many different calibers for deer hunting. My list includes 250 savage, 300 savage , 308 win, 30-06, 270 win, 243 win , 6mmm rem, 25-06, 300 win mag, 30-30 win, 32 win spl, 257 roberts, 7.62x54 russ, 7.62x39 russ, 375 win, 444marlin, 44 rem mag, 35 rem, 30 carbine, 6.5x55, 6.5 creedmore, and 264 win mag.
