It feels, looks, and cycles every bit as small and short as the Howa. It feels as close to a rimfire rifle as you’re going to get. I find it feels more like a rimfire than the howa. I have Howa 20” lightweight and 22” standard and cz American.

I have never seen a Howa, but have two CZ527's one a 22 Hornet Prestige, the other my 6.5 Grendel American. They are tiny, and the bolt action can be rather sticky at first, both of mine were. A lot of cycling and they are now slick as greased glass.
