My first consultation with a cataract surgeon is on Dec 11th. Exactly when I'll have the operation is an "I don't know" as of yet. Looking forward to renewed vision though. My older brother had cataract surgery on both eyes two years ago which enabled him to put away his prescription glasses. Don't know if I'll have both eyes done in one operation like he did. The optometrist I saw last month says the cataracts in my left eye were barely visible when she examined my eyes. She said the cataracts in my right eye were about as bad as she's ever seen. I'm right-eye dominate so fixing that eye is a no brainer.
I refuse to be victimized by notions of virtuous behavior.
