Question becomes then, should I do x2 x3 x4 x5 or x6?
My 3x Vortex Spitfire is low enough to allow me to go between both eyes open and left eye closed at close to medium range without much disorientation. That won't win any 3 gun competitions and takes a bit of practice. It's also enough magnification to get the reticle where it needs to be to get it on a 12" plate at 500 yards if I can build a stable position.
