question on BCA upper assembly

I ordered a reaction/torque rod from Brownells. Clamped the barrel nut between two parallels in a big vice, cracked her loose with a 1/2” breaker bar. No problem at all. Now if I knew the difference between a “mid” length gas tube and an “intermediate” length, I’d be golden..got the wrong one! Durn it!! Waiting again!
