BTW, your .4 inch number is almost exactly my observed movement in several swap tests. I can't say I get to the range enough to say what my zero shift day to day would be without having removed it at all? That'd be an interesting test. 14 days of cold bore impacts without ever touching the rifle. Just recording cold bore behavior and weather condition variance. I may be forced to make this happen.
