SOLD OUT MONSTER 16 6.5 Grendel Barrels

J76, I got Faxon started in the world of Grendel when I first contracted with them a few years ago to make barrels for me. But when my contact left the company and the new guy jacked up my cost to ridiculous levels — the way a contractor will give you a ridiculously high quote to politely say "get lost" — I found Green Mountain (who is not trying to compete with me with their own line of Grendel barrels). Green Mountain is fantastic to work with and their quality is second-to-none in their category.

Anyway, all this to say I'm intimately familiar with Faxon barrels and I will not give a similarly specced barrel of theirs anything over my Green Mountain barrels — even if theirs are $100 more. Green Mountain and Faxon and Ballistic Advantage and Wilson Combat are about the same category, so I'm not gonna ding their barrels, but I will say guys who have my MONSTER barrels made by Green Mountain often comment on the quality and value for the money.

Nobody in America today touches the value I bring to a Grendel barrel — and soon to be 6mmARC — for the money.
