Another option when single feeding the 527 is, once you insert the round into the receiver, then push/stuff the rim of the cartridge into and under the front of the mag lips. It’s stupid quick and easy and that allows you to use longer than SAAMI rounds and still have the cartridge pop up from the mag under the extractor and cycle smoothly.
