I tried it and there was no difference in before and after groups.

The barrel came out easily however I chose a Loktite designed to do that. To be fair, it was a tight fit to start with and sub MOA (Lilja) so arguably there was never going to be a noticeable improvement.

I remain skeptical but open to the suggestion that it might help if a sloppy fit.
