I've got one of the first 2017 group buy Faxon 12" 1/8 5REE Monster barrels, it finally made its way to me a month ago, having never been in a build or fired. I lapped the receiver and shimmed the barrel.
Pink circled areas are shots taken in the process of adjusting the Swampfox Arrowhead 1-10 scope on its first outing, yellow circles are groups. American Gunner 123gr, 100yds, sea level and 95+ degrees, shooting off a $50 UTG Recon MLOK bipod and sitting in a wiggly seat.
Range went cold after the lower left group, next group after that was with a half MOA right adjustment on the scope, and all shots were in the orange. Shot at least 1MOA for the rest of the day with the AG. Wolf was shooting about 1.5-2.0 MOA. Good enough for what I need it to do, which is HD and Florida hog hunting.
