New CA member looking for LFP Grendel advice

You're off to a good start. What have you reloaded in the past? If you don't already have 'em, pick up vol's 1 and 2 of the Grendel Handbook from BFT. They have a wealth of info on reloading for the grendel!

Yes we hear your pain about lead-free projectiles in California!

Nonetheless, many of us shed crocodile tears because many of these lead-free bullets are serious hunting tools.

I read those threads extensively before signing up and they helped me greatly in narrowing down projectiles and powders, especially potential minimum opening velocities. My problem with LFP is not so much being forced to use them (although I don't like that at all), its the extortion of LFP manufacturers to get on the "approved list" and the impossibility of finding LFP ammo on the shelf outside a few popular calibers (then not being able to order it online if I can find it in stock somewhere).
