A few years ago there were several AR-15 rails for a-fixing scope rings to get higher scopes or a cant, typically 10- 20 MOA. I wonder if the extra rail has fallen out of favor because it just adds another piece which can come loose or add weight. BrownellÂ’s still list an EGW rail but it is cheaper to just buy a canted one piece mount.
