Now since your just wanting to get the velocity data, you can take the handguard off and just let the barrel sit on a front bag and get your data, remove the graph and then put the handguard back on.
i was wondering about requirements for distance from the bore to bayonet, and the offset of the bayonet to the mounting surface
i could always fab something up to mount it to the hand guard, if the dims work out
i remember seeing a dimensioned pic someplace, but cant find it anymore
