No reason to contact them. The base of the bayonet for the graph is 2 5/8 inches, so that's what you have to have to mount it on the barrel.
Now since your just wanting to get the velocity data, you can take the handguard off and just let the barrel sit on a front bag and get your data, remove the graph and then put the handguard back on.
