AM4966,It is a matter of preference.If you want to swap your suppressor from one gun to another at the range,QD is the way to go. But if you want to shoot your suppressor on one gun at a time, direct mount is the way to go. I like the direct mount because it is lighter. And in my opinion, its quieter.
Mel, I went shooting today after work. I put my AR upper in the vice block and I hand tightened my Griffin GP7 with the wrench that came with it. I mustve put 100 rounds through it. It wouldnt loosen till I put it back in the block and took it off with the wrench later.Thank you for the suggestion.
