Klem,my silencerco came with a cover.I was looking into getting one for my Griffin GP7. But why spend up to $100 for a suppressor cover, when you can go to Harbor freight and spend $5.99 for a pair of welding gloves that work great. I already had a pair that I use for work on the truck,which is how I know they work.
Mel, I was told to get a 16 mm conical washer at Ace or True Value by acquaintances at the range.But, in a silencer shop video I saw on YouTube, they recommended not to use washers of any kind with a direct mount suppressor because it could throw off the alignment and cause baffle strikes. Im not gonna argue the point either way. Because I have seen acquaintances at the range use them with no problem. Im just gonna hold off on the washer for now.
