Why do Lee dies get slagged so much here

At that price, and with the Hornady bullet rebate, its like getting one or the other for free.

Are these considered good?

I can't speak from experience. Word is here, on this forum, the Hornady dies are noticeably better than Lee. Meaning I think, noticeably easier on the brass, thus extending the useful life of the cases. I guess they're good for people on a budget who want better dies? You might have to ask around here and maybe do some reading to determine how Hornady dies compare with the most favored and much more expensive Forster and Redding dies.
