If built correctly a form 1 can will last as long as a factory built can. Mine is all 17-4 including the tube which I bored a piece of 17-4 bar stock and made my tube. Go to a form1supressor board if you want good info on the how tos and best suppliers of cones or radials. My cousin built himself one with aegis radials and its as good as any commercial can Ive heard. Dont go aluminum for a can shooting supers. I have probably 800-1000 rds of Grendel and 4-500 5.56 along with couple hundred 260 AI and creeds through mine and no erosion of my blast baffle as of yet. Do some research, its worth it
ETA: you can run all aluminum if used only for slow fire hunting. Rapid fire heat on aluminum is when youll start seeing erosion. Threaded cans are fine as long as your caps are secured with rocksett. Like mentioned above, a couple 17-4 baffles followed by aluminum would be better than all aluminum. Even better is 17-4 followed by TI, and best would be all 17-4.
