I have no experience with bolt guns. Im a gas gun semi-auto shooter. The 6 ARC is being tested as a DMR for 600+ yard use. The concept did not take the 6.5 Grendel into consideration because the recoil takes the shooter off target. I have found out that is true in my Grendel with a 4x14 scope. The 6 ARC is less recoil and supposedly you can stay on target through the scope for fast follow up shots.
