Problem with 10 round ladders are all the factors.
Take 20 cases and 20 bullets. Load two identical ladders and shoot them.
You will get two similar ladders, but nodes wont match up on them. In the grendel I seldom see plateaus anyway, but smooth rising curves are the most common.
You really need to have perfect brass and bullets for this to be reliable, and the next time you need to use brass in the same shape as the previous time, or you will get diffrent speeds.
