Adjustable gas block for 8” build

Another option is an adjustable gas key as sold by Rubber City Armory. I just put one on a carrier last night and hopefully test it today. The adjustable gas key should be easier to clean, I’d think Kroil would break any carbon loose in the key gas adjustment screw. I bought a RCA adjustable gas key from Right to Bear and a stripped M-16 bolt carrier from JSE Surplus. No one vendor had all the parts I needed.

There adjustable gas bolt carriers but they are kind of pricey.

I’ve used JP adjustable gas blocks and they are gtg.
