I wanted to add some info I didn't have time to do last night.
I was using 123 SST's.(Magnetospeed show 2525avg). Range was 60yd(first hog), 70 to 80yd(second one), 100yd(third one). First hog dropped on the spot. The other two only ran about 10 to 20yds after(finally) being hit. All three were hit behind the shoulder. The third hog was hit on the right side, and exited near the left hip. The photo shows the damage there. The SST's brought down all three with one shot each even though the point of impact was not optimal on any of them. . I'm pretty much sold on them for my type of hunting. I am going to try the Gold Dots, and later the Hornady BTHP's. Just thought I'd pass on what I've learned from you guys. Thanks. Special thanks to DNS for his videos. They have helped me a lot with learning how to "lead" a running hog when shooting. Hope to get out before the storm tonight and kill some more, but at the same time I hope I get rained out. We DESPERATELY need the rain. Thanks again, Gary
