This was at 7200 while were basically in Wyoming working on a Friends hunting cabin and shooting prairie dogs plus sight seeing. I doubt Ill be back at that elevation for a while. I dont remember the exact sequence other than my first hit was center mass on the silhouette target.
My Friend had been shooting his 300 Win Mag and I shot one group before a storm front started moving in and winds started swirling. Lightning was getting to close for comfort and we got back to the cabin just in time. Just guessing, Id say the steel plate is 20-24 wide but seems like it is a full size silhouette.
I usually shoot at about 450 ASL in the midwest. The terrain was easier to see misses in Wyoming than here in southern Illinois. Im only a novice with a rifle and this was a memorable trip.
