U P D A T E : Got a bare metal "in-the-white" sample for my review before nitriding. Excited! See attached photo.

Thought I would weigh it: 1.6 ounces.

For comparison, a 5/8-24 A2 flash hider weighs 1.8 ounces (1/2-28 A2 weighs 1.9 oz).

LIGHTER than an A2 and three times as effective!

Interestingly, a MONSTER bolt weighs 1.5 ounces. So, almost same weight as a bolt!

That's pimp as heck.

I would rock that thing even in the white like it is.

Wonder how well it will work on my 12 and 12.5 inch guns?
