The stock and action are closely mated using Devcon PlasticSteel Epoxy. I think it is well worth it as the factory inlet is a little 'loose'.
I have worked the action:
The bolt waggle is typical mauser and comes from the smallish rear bridge. There is nothing you can do about it, and you will notice that it does not affect operation in any way.
The bolt knob is as pictured. This knob is on my 6mm PPC varmiter.
I have worked the action:
- lapped the locking lugs
- reprofiled the spring for the bolt lock plunger
- reprofiled and polished the collar for the bolt guide
- polished the cocking ramp/cocking piece interface
- recut the cocking piece to deliver better lockup
- polished the bolt raceways
- reprofiled the magazine follower
