If a person was going to sit at a bench or prone 100% of the time then the factory dbm and mag may work.
However, for anything dynamic and especially hunting its composition and design is pure garbage.
Obviously the person who designed it has never hunted a day in their life.
Plus, LSI doesnt want to hear it, and will never change.
The good news is HPK owner from Jefferson Outdoors and Oregon Gunsmithing have made a quality bdl floorplate for us to choose from. I spent my money with HPK and have the JO one.
I like that HPK genuinely wants feedback from his customers if anything goes wrong and for future improvements if needed.
Im not saying anything negative about OG - I just havent talked with them, and from what I have read on here they do quality work too.
If you load the JO model from the bottom you need to pay attention to how the rounds are staggered. If you dont have them correctly staggered you will only get 3 in instead of 4. Position them correctly and 4 is a go.
