As now, if multiple pistols or MSR's are bought within a relatively short time frame ( days ) it is flagged by the ATF, how difficult do you think it is to do the same while watching on line transactions??
The real point is, if you doing 80%er's to hide em, you're only fooling yourself.

I completely understand your point. Any electronic transaction can be traced.And although I try to buy locally w/cash first. I have made many transactions online. In fact I have bought dozens upon dozens of 80% lowers to sell both on gun broker and at the local gun show.
But if they were to come confiscate weapons tomorrow I really don’t think they’re going after the online shoppers first. They would be going after the easy mark. Which of course is the registered gun owner. Then maybe after guys who bought serial numbered Firearms with a background check.
No one knows that gun confiscation will never happen in our lifetime. And you’re surely aren’t going to figure out how it’s going to happen or exactly when. I am not trying to hide anything. But if I can make it a little harder for them to find me I will.
