isn't a 6mm Dasher based upon a 0.473" case head diameter ? i.e. 308 Win, 30-06, 8mm mauser, etc. the mini howa bolt face would have to be opened up by a gunsmith/machinist type person, if the 6mm Dasher is actually using a bigger cartridge diameter than the 6.5 Grendel case, correct? and would the extractor need modification?? would it be easier to just re-barrel the 6.5 Grendel to 6mm PPC if you want a 6mm round, since they both share the same case head diameter?? did i miss something?

tdbru I'm going through the exact same decision process for a Ruger RAP Grendel. I got a 1-7 twist Shilen barrel to chamber for 6 PPC. I looked at 6BR Norma and Dasher but the case head being bigger and the OAL of 2.360 for bullets above 90 grains disqualified them for me.
I have a Winchester mdl 70 heavy bbl in 22-250 that will be a excellent candidate for a 6 Dasher in the near future, perhaps if a $1200.00 check from the government comes my way
