Thanks yet again. Went to YouTube and saw the fixes. Settled on a short section of gorilla tape on the dorsal of the tube, easy and done. Lubed the outside to avoid gumming but truly, I have no intention of collapsing the stock beyond the maximum extension anyway. No movement at all now.
I am now looking at the the Limbsaver butt pad for these stocks. Softer, grippy, excellent reviews. This would complete the stock for me and be way cheaper than an A2 replacement.
Any experience with the limbsaver M4 pads? They are dearly priced but look like they are worth it.
