Dont sweat about your Grendel Hunter upper and non SAAMI spec barrel. Take your Grendel Hunter to the range and see how it shoots. Grendel Hunter has many satisfied customers. If you encounter a problem I suspect Grendel Hunter will try to rectify the problem.
Saturn can manufacture high quality cut rifled barrels. Saturns cheaper line of button rifled barrels are the liberty line which are rack grade barrels. The 18 mid length gas liberty 6.5 Grendel II barrels are generally over gassed because they have large gas ports. If your going to use a suppressor I suggest you use an adjustable gas block or adjustable gas carrier.
The biggest difference in a Liberty Grendel II chamber is in the barrel throat. The Liberty barrels use a traditional throat (not compound like the SAAMI chamber) and a long leade. I have friends who purchased Liberty barrels from Brownells and the first batch commonly had short chambers. Satern/Liberty has sold a lot of Grendel II chambered barrels but they are not something I would buy.
