After months of dilemma and research I finally pulled the trigger on a Grendel upper Receiver build.
My hold up was not wanting to get another caliber to reload, but I kept coming back to the Grendel puts 5.56 to shame in every test I ever saw.
This build is a light weight hunting/ shtf rifle. I was looking for a light gun that can be packed in on a pack horse to various locations mainly hunting small Couse deer type game
Yesterday I ordered an Aero Precision upper and a ToolCraft 6.5 BCG, researching barrels for it now.
