One ting I have noticed about the Jefferson flush bottom metal: If you load from the top, after the first round is inserted there is a real tendency for subsequent rounds to slip to the left and fill the bolt channel. Once there the pressure from the first round (in the magazine already) will hold it there and you’ll need something like half a clothespin to get it out. So far the best way to load the mag is to drop the Oberndorff bottom plate and drop them in from there.
