I dont shoot steel cased ammo because the most important thing for me is accuracy. And steel cased ammo doesnt give me the best accuracy. But for plinking, theres nothing wrong with it and $.30 around is an awesome price.
As far as the rumor that steel cases are hard on your AR 15.I know guys whove been shooting steel cases wolf and Tula out of their AR15 for decades. The only thing is that it is harder on is your ejector. And you may go through an ejector or two in a 10 year period if you shoot steel cases a lot.
With the money youre saving verses brass, it shouldnt bother you. Most guys keep an extra ejector or 2 on their shelves anyway. I know I do and I dont even shoot steel cases.
