I've been looking at thermal scopes and have it down to three. All ATN Thor 4:
1.5-15x 640
1-10x 640
4.5-18x 384
Mostly going to be coyotes in Michigan so 200yds would be a really long shot most of the time. I like the thought of higher resolution but have seen some videos of hunts with the 4.5-18x 384 and they look very good. $4k for the 1.5x 640 is my very upper limit, but I don't want to spend the extra $500-$800 if its not necessary.
Please share your experiences with these or similar scopes.
