OK. Did a quick sight-in with the new AA upper and lower.
This is a 20" upper, I put the VLTOR flash hider on yesterday, and I replaced the stock AA trigger in the AA lower with the RRA NM Two-Stage.
The optic is a Leupold 1-4x with the heavy wire. It's really a shotgun scope but OK and it's what I have on hand. It's in RRA one piece rings and base.
The ammo is the older Wolf Gold 120 MPT loading. Ten years ago this stuff was pretty easy to get. I suspect the PPU loading is the similar loading now.
As you can see in image one I chased the strikes around the paper 3-4 at a time. The last two in the black looked good. This is only at 50 yards, off the hood of the truck with the mag well resting on a book. I plan a better bench rest next time. This is just the quick and dirty.

I flipped the paper over and took the last five at the lower left in the gold part of the box. My vertical spread is about 7/16ths. The side-to-side spread is all me.

I am pretty encouraged. I have ballistol-cleaned the rifle and plan to stretch out to 90-100 yds. and use a secure rest without the sun blasting me. But I couldn't wait!
