Bullet Jump: is less always better?

I'm seeing that article posted all over the internet and I think there are a lot of people that don't understand its point. The article defines "better" as acceptable accuracy without changing cartridge length for the duration of the barrel life (or multiple matches, they go back and forth). Less jump may not be better for absolute accuracy but being able to load to the lands does mean you have, at least in theory, more control over the COAL that is optimal for your setup. Fortunately I don't find my 6.5G barrel very sensitive to seating depth at magazine length and it is generally pretty easy on the throat compared to larger cartridges.
