Maybe Texas cows are less spooky than Oregon cows.

Cattle herds on my different properties all seem to have different personalities. Some will let you walk between them like one of their own. Others will spook and mini stampede if you enter the pasture where they are. We have had cattle try to drive off the hogs when we entered the pasture (which was really odd). I have had cattle follow me around like puppies. I made the mistake of scratching one behind the ears once and it thought we should be best friends as it followed me everywhere and would bump me to get me to pay attention to it. It was young, maybe only 800 or 900 lbs, but what a cow considers to be a bump for attention can knock you off your feet, LOL. I have been chased by bulls a couple of times, but for the most part, they are not an issue. Like the video above, I appreciate the herds that largely just ignore me or slowly move away.
