One point I didn't see mentioned directly that ties into case capacity; the relative burn speed tables for powder are not universally true across cartridges. Powder B may in fact be faster burning than powder A in a particular cartridge.

The overall combination of factors in YOUR firearm need to be evaluated. Lot of great advice given above.
