If I take the price of the case out ,it probably costs around $.50 to reload ea rd for the 6.5 Grendel. But they are quality bullets such as SMK. The type and amount of powder are what that particular gun likes best.
You do not reload to save money. You do it to get better performance out of your rifle. Back in the day you would save a ton of money reloading ,compared to factory ammo. Now I am lucky just to break even.
Reloading is a hobby within itself for me. It gives me as much enjoyment as shooting and probably occupies more of my time than shooting.I sit on the porch with my dog and trim cases. And I prime cases on the couch while Im watching TV.
