I finally broke down and got a Kel-Tec PMR-30. It has been almost flawless, and thats running the cheapest ArmsCor 40 JHP I had laying around for a 22WMR Rifle I have. About 500 rounds through it and It keeps impressing me. The trigger is surprisingly good and the accuracy is unbelievable with the ArmsCor. Off hand, hitting rocks on a bank at 100 yds way more than I ever should or tight misses all around them. Let a friend run it at the range for an hour or so because he was thinking about one. He tried a dozen different brands, weights, etc, and I think only two, didnt shoot well of had feeding/ejection isssues.
Having said that, I agree, I would NOT carry this or any other Kel-Tec for self defense either. This a lightweight, plinking pistol, backup feral dog medicine, entertainment.
Self defense? Glock 19 for me, thank you very much!
