Reminds me of the 250/3000. First center fire rifle I shot was a take down Model 99. One in 6mm Grendel would be nice now

While the Creedmoors are essentially a 250/3000 “improved”, a 6.5 Grendel in a bolt gun with 22” or more of barrel and handloads can nearly match a 250/3000 with 100 grain bullets. AND the 6.5 Barnes and Nosler 100’s are only about .01 shy on G1 BC when compared to the .257” 100’s, according to my Litz manual. Pretty neat.
