That's the gist of the difference between the 243 Win and the 6mm Creed, shorter case body and 6mm neck to allow for the longer bullets to seat.
Another advantage (to me anyway) is that the 6CM style case allows for Varget/H4350 mid-speed powders instead of having to go with the slower H4831's, as in the 243. The 6CM case is efficient enough that you still get very similar MV's even with a bit less case volume.
So a wider, more usable group of powders for me.
So possibly the 6Arc might go with similar Varget style powders, hope hope hope. But have to wait and see on that.
